The students at Ferris State University and I worked with the Grand Rapids Public Museum in this ship driving game that is also a guided tour and an interactive exhibit still in development. The player is playing being a ship captain on the Great Lakes of Michigan in the 1900’s.
This video was made for the Michigan Mograph Mondays group in Royal Oak Michigan. It was made in After Effects and the 3D models were made in Maya. More at www.BrandVMotionGraphics.com

This project was inspired by the brick factory in the movie “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.” While using modular textures and building the geometry from those in 3ds Max I used Photoshop and dDo to create 2 UV maps, each 4096×4096 and then added dirt layers to them later.
